About Yarwood Racing
William Yarwood has been racing in various categories for over 22 years.
William has achieved a unique feat of 7 National titles and 30 State titles in karting; to this day, no one even comes close to these achievements. These results are evidence enough that William is one of the most talented and motivated young drivers emerging in the motorsport scene.
William gained overall sixth place in the Aussie Race Car series for 2004 – an outstanding feat for his first year in the series.
A constant front runner (top 5) in majority of races for 2004 and 2005.
2004 - William achieved third overall at the infamously difficult track – the concrete jungle of INDY.
William regularly represents ‘Auto Action Magazine’ and ‘Motorsport News’ for feature interviews and photo shoots. In February 2004, William was featured on the cover of the Australian Mountain Bike Magazine.
To this day he is one of the fastest Australians ever to qualify at the Suzuka circuit in Japan.
In 2004, at his first time in Adelaide, he set fastest lap time in the Adelaide Clipsal 500.
